Positive pregnancy test

Today marks 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant.  That's right friends, I should have started yesterday, but I didn't; I took a pregnancy test, and it was indeed positive.  I have decided to take on this pregnancy alone, with no man.  Yes, there was a man to help with the actual "doing the deed,"which fortunately is my other two kids' father.  He is no longer with me, and I intend to keep it this way.  This will be my fourth child! I know, that's ridiculous.  And this wasn't planned, but I always wanted to do this the so called "right" way.  So here I am! And by "right way" I mean a healthy vegan, mostly raw pregnancy with plenty of physical activity throughout!

I have been vegan for some time now. There are so many positive effects from being vegan, but the main reason I chose veganism was because I love animals too much to eat them! And we have so many options now with such an abundance of food...well...EVERYWHERE.  I have always dabbled with the raw food lifestyle.  I try to make most of my diet full of raw fruits and greens.  It has proved to be VERY hard! Through this pregnancy, I invite you to travel with me through my transition to an ALL RAW, vegan diet.  It will not be overnight, and I will carefully monitor my vitamins and nutrients to make sure I'm getting what I need, of course! I will regularly be posting recipes and pictures of what I'm eating throughout the days. Nutrition, of course, isn't the only important factor in having the most abundant, healthy pregnancy ever.  Exercise is also important!

Currently I am working at Jacksonville State University. There I teach yoga and Pilates at their group fitness classes.  I absolutely love this and all the people there and will continue to teach!  And a bonus here: I will be posting videos for you all to do also to maintain great health, and if you're pregnant also, giving you something to follow.  So, check the page regularly, save it, and follow me on Instagram also: Stephreneeowens.  So to finish off this "Day 1" post, here's a picture of a 4 week old embryo:
Isn't it just the cutest thing ever?!  totally joking, it looks like an alien.  <3 nbsp="" p="">-Much love, friends.
Assignment for today is to spend some time outside, ground yourself and breath the fresh, cold, crisp air; feel and accept the love.
